Invitation To
The 12th International Workshop on
Languages and Compilers for Parallel Computing
August 4-6, 1999
The University of California, San Diego
Dear Colleagues:
The Workshop on Languages and Compilers for Parallel Computing has
been an annual forum since 1988 for leading research groups in the
USA, Europe, and Asia to present their current research activities and
the latest results. It has also been a place for researchers and
practitioners to closely interact and to exchange ideas about future
directions. The 12th workshop will be hosted by University of
California, San Diego in 1999.
You are cordially invited to attend this workshop. You are also
invited to submit a research paper to the local organizers of this
year's workshop. All papers will be reviewed by the program committee
and, if needed, by external reviewers, and selected papers will be
accepted for formal presentation at the workshop and inclusion in the
proceedings.
The final proceedings will be published by Springer-Verlag as a book
in the Lecture Notes of Computer Science. We also expect that a small
number of the papers, presented at the workshop, will be asked to
submit for the special issue of a journal yet to be selected.
Electronic submission (preferred):
- ----------------------------------
Please email PostScript file (preferred) to lcpc99@cs.ucsd.edu. (The
A4 page format which used in certain non-US countries would make the
paper printing extremely difficult here. Please do not use that
format when producing the post-script file.)
Hard copy submission (if necessary, but postscript preferred)

Please mail to:
