The Organisation of the HPCN98 event is proud to announce the HPCN98

HPCN98 covers a multi-workshop, exhibition and conference event:

- HPCN Conference:
        - Industrial and General Applications
        - Computational Science
        - Computer Science

- Workshops:
        - Human Genome Workshop
        - Modelling & Simulation of Complex Industrial Systems
        - Virtual Reality
        - HPF+
        - Eurotools

- International mini Conference on Telemedical Information Society

- Exhibition: The Internet Working Event Exibition

By moving permanently to Amsterdam RAI conference center and joining the
Internet  Working Event Exibition, the HPCN Europe 98 Event has undergone a
complete facelift. HPCN Europe 98 provides five parallel tracks. The
intention  to have a further focussing in the event has resulted in two
tracks with solely workshops presenting invited papers and two other tracks
presenting the submitted papers. In addition one track will present a new
emerging HPCN application field being Telemedicine.
The aim to concentrate even more than before on emerging
(end-user)applications has resulted in two workshops and one mini
conference on that topic. The  Genome Computing workshop and the  Modelling
& Simulation of Complex Industrial Systems workshop will illustrate the
important issues in those fields, whereas the first International
Conference on Telemedical Information Society will discuss the state of the
art in this emerging field.
Also enabling HPCN technology such as Virtual Reality and WEB will get
increasing attention  during HPCN Europe 98. This is illustrated by a
separate Virtual Reality workshop. That the more classical HPCN fields are
not forgotten is illustrated by two workshops; one on tools "Eurotools" and
one on languages "HPF+".
In addition three keynotes by well known experts in the field will complete
the more than 80 accepted papers and 50 posters that will be presented at
HPCN Europe 98.
