CIS - Cluster Information Service (version 0.9.2)

Cluster Information Service (CIS) provides information about 
availability of resources in Linux cluster. This information is necessary for 
workload allocation and better utilization of resources (CPU, memory and 
network). CIS is designed to have minimal impact on monitored system. Special
kernel probes allow to dramaticaly reduce the overhead of data acquisition. 
(On Pentium 550 MHz with 384 MB of memory top -d 1 uses 1.5 % of CPU and CIS
0.01 % of CPU). Monitored information includes system resources, processes,
sockets and network devices.

Client library is distributed under the terms of LGLP public license. Any
other parts of CIS in this package are distributed under the terms of GPL
public license.
